Dennis Schmidt

Digital Product Designer based in Hamburg, Germany. Currently working full-time at SHARE NOW and open for freelance projects.

I've been in the design industry for almost ten years now. Starting out with design school, I then worked as an Art Director in a digital agency before studying Media Systems and becoming a full-time Product Designer at SHARE NOW. In the meantime, I've learned a lot of things, both in terms of soft as well as hard skills.

Over time, I've become a much more holistic designer. While I've focused mostly on aesthetics in my early career, I've recognized later that good design goes a lot deeper and can bring much more value than just nice graphics. The keys for me are above all user-centricity, research, collaboration, and iterations.

In my free time, I'm heavily (and passively) interested in professional sports – motor racing, football and basketball, in that order. I also like to stay creative by making music and running some side projects to learn new things and combine my interests of sports and design.
